رمضان ایک عربی لفظ ہے جو قرآن مجید میں آیا ہے۔ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے پیغمبر حضرت محمد ﷺ کے زمانے میں مقدس مہینوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ رمضان کا مطلب "گرمی" یا "تنگی" ہوتا ہے۔ یہ مہینہ اس لئے رمضان کہلاتا ہے کہ اس مہینے میں روزے رکھنے والوں کو بھوک اور پیاس کا احساس ہوتا ہے۔
رمضان اور قرآن
رمضان کا مہینہ قرآن کے نزول کا مہینہ ہے۔ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے رمضان کے مہینے میں قرآن کو حضرت محمد ﷺ کے دل میں نازل کیا تھا۔ اس لئے رمضان کو قرآنی مہینہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔ مسلمانوں کو رمضان کے مہینے میں قرآن کی تلاوت کرنی چاہیے اور اس کی تدبر و تفکر کرنی چاہیے۔
رمضان کے خوش قسمت رنگ
رمضان کے مہینے میں خوش قسمت رنگ سفید ہے۔ سفید رنگ پاکیزگی، صفائی اور پاکی کی علامت ہوتا ہے۔ رمضان کے مہینے میں مسلمانوں کو اپنے دلوں کو صاف کرنے، برائیوں سے پاک کرنے اور نیکیوں کو بڑھانے کا موقع ملتا ہے۔

Meaning of Ramadan
Ramadan is an Arabic word mentioned in the Holy Quran. It is one of the sacred months during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The meaning of Ramadan is "heat" or "tightness." It is called Ramadan because those who observe fasting during this month experience hunger and thirst.
Ramadan and the Quran
Ramadan is the month of the revelation of the Quran. Angel Gabriel (Jibril) revealed the Quran to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the month of Ramadan. That is why Ramadan is also known as the month of the Quran. Muslims are encouraged to recite and contemplate upon the Quran during the month of Ramadan.

The lucky color associated with Ramadan is white. White color represents purity, cleanliness, and piety. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims have the opportunity to purify their hearts, cleanse themselves from sins, and increase their good deeds.
