قدسیہ نام اردو زبان کا ایک خوبصورت نام ہے جس کا مطلب "مقدس" ہوتا ہے۔ یہ نام عربی زبان سے اخذ کیا گیا ہے اور قرآن میں بھی استعمال ہوتا ہے۔

"وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ یَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَیْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِیكُمْ أَنْبِیَاءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ یُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِینَ * یَا قَوْمِ ادْخُلُوا الْأَرْضَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِی كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَرْتَدُّوا عَلَىٰ أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِینَ" (سورة المائدة، الآية 20-21)
