Zürcher Geschnetzeltes

Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (German for “sliced meat Zurich style”, in Zürich German Züri-Gschnätzlets) is a Swiss dish from the Zurich region. Its main ingredients are veal sliced into small strips, sliced mushrooms and cream. It was originally prepared using meat only, a popular variation today is adding about a fourth of sliced veal kidney to the meat.
